River setup
The MVP feed shows a slowly falling river with water temperatures in the mid-60s. That combination usually makes current transitions easier to define and pushes the daily plan toward deeper seams and structure with immediate flow.

Where to start
Start with the downstream side of wing dams, then move to main-channel edges if fish are not holding shallow enough to contact efficiently. Keep adjustments small before abandoning an area.
- Fish early.
- Prioritize current breaks.
- Keep a second rod ready for smallmouth around riprap.
