Current site behavior
This production build does not include user accounts, a live community-submission form, advertising profiles, or a first-party analytics package.
Hosting logs
The hosting platform may process ordinary technical request data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser information, request path, timestamp, and error information. Exact retention and handling depend on the hosting provider selected for launch.
External data sources
Driftless Currents retrieves public river, weather, astronomy, and navigation information from government data services on the server. Visitors do not need to provide personal information to use those condition pages.
Future features
If analytics, newsletters, user submissions, accounts, advertising, or other data-collection features are enabled, this policy should be updated before those features are launched.
